We chose this local hole in the wall eatery after a friend recommended it. A teriyaki chicken bowl is what we ordered. It was served up quickly and was tasty. We will come again.

Just a word for planning, the hours are like a European restaurant which closes for lunch at 1:30 pm and reopens later. There is outdoor seating if you want to linger but on a cold day, plan accordingly.

Don't let the bland exterior of this restaurant deceive you. Dull concrete floors, boring tables, and plain brown paper bowls don't sell the quality of the food get. The Poke bowl my wife got and the fried pork I got were both high quality. The gyoza, however, could use some work. It wasn't bad, necessarily, but the wrapping had an unusual texture and there wasn't much filling. Despite these though, the gyoza was still not a bad option. The restaurant itself really lacks any kind of an interesting interior. The entire restaurant was neutral color. The concrete floor, plain walls, and plain furniture really gave the restaurant a feel that didn't make it an interesting place to be. Overall, still definitely worth the visit.

I have not had Japanese food like this since my Japanese friends have moved back home. It feels so nostalgic and tastes absolutely phenomenal. The lack of focus on interior allows the food to shine. I got the katsu curry and the edamame, and just the smell was mouthwatering. Please come here, you won’t regret anything

We had a fantastic experience at K's Kitchen! The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the owner, Phil, who is incredibly nice and welcoming. He took the time to recommend some of the popular dishes, and we decided to try the Japanese curry along with an order of gyoza. The food was delicious, with authentic flavors that made the whole meal memorable. The atmosphere is cozy and unassuming, perfect for a casual dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend!

Food is amazing. Restaurant is clean, simple, and cozy. Japanese food is rarely something I get to eat so I love that we have this in Provo. Staff are kind and make the best food. Can’t wait to bring more friends here!

Good first thing to try is the katsu curry!

I had a fantastic experience trying K's kitchen for the first time. The service was friendly and accommodating, and most importantly the food was amazing. I loved trying Japanese cuisine that wasn't sushi or noodles!

This restaurant is in my opinion the best restaurant in Provo. The food is exceptional and authentic Japanese. The decor in the restaurant is very simple like you will find in Japan. This is not a boring restaurant as some uncultured folks have suggested, No, this is a legit Japanese restaurant…everything is Japanese including the owners.
It’s incredible. It is amazing. It is delicious. It is comforting. It is my favorite.
