Kpot Korean BBQ has a unique vibe with lots of neon lights and K-pop music videos projected throughout the place. It's a huge space, offering an all-you-can-eat experience with a buffet. Once we were seated, the service was fast and efficient, thanks to our server Christine, who was super helpful and took the time to explain the process since it was our first time there. Damian was also very friendly and helpful.

However, the initial experience with the hostess was disappointing. She seemed apathetic and unhelpful, ignoring us while we were trying to get our name on the list, which started things off on a sour note.

The food itself was okay but nothing to rave about. The soup was really spicy (a heads-up if you can’t handle heat), and make sure you grab knives and forks from the buffet. One major tip: be sure to finish all the meat you order, or you’ll be charged extra. Also, avoid the complimentary cookies at the exit—they taste more like seafood biscuits than dessert!

Overall, the food was mediocre, but the atmosphere and experience were memorable. Service was a mixed bag, with some staff being great and others not so much.

Pretty okay hotpot place. They have the appetizers and sauce out so you can pick. But if you want veggies or noodles you have to order it. I like being able to pick my own veggies out and amount. Especially because they ended up bringing out too many. And they will charge for excessive waste (which makes sense) but when they bring out the quantities it’s a little intimidating. I tried their Tom Yum hot pot and it tasted strongly of cleaners/soap. Their meat and vegetables were fresh. But they took forever to arrive to our table. We also ordered rice at the very beginning and it didn’t show up until we were just about finished. They have sushi as well but it’s not labeled as raw or cooked. Plan on spending $100 on just two people.

Tl;dr - Great atmosphere, okay food if you know what to order and there are tons of options, service was mid.

Went with my sister and told the server we had never been there before. She explained some of the basics to us but she wasn't overly helpful in providing all the information that could have made the best experience. It was enough information to get some food at least.

Since we had never been there, we decided to try hot pot *and* BBQ which was $5 extra per person. Sister tried the Healthy Herb broth which was very flavorful. I had the Japanese Miso which didn't have a strong taste. It was like watered-down miso and I found it to be slightly disappointing. I much preferred my sister's herb broth. There was a gluten free broth option for those with dietary restrictions (we didn't try it so I can't comment on the flavor).

Both the soup and the BBQ options had plenty of meat and vegetarian selections (including tofu) to choose from. There was an iPad on the table that we used to send in the orders of the things we would like to try. There was a sashimi plate (limit 1 per person) and a few sushi options as well. I appreciated the wide selection of fresh veggies. We ordered the Finger Ribs which never came with our first round. I asked the server about it and she told me to order it on the iPad again. It never came with the second round either and I gave up at that point.

The drink selections included Pepsi products ($3) and various boba teas ($6). I ordered the taro tea and enjoyed it. My sister's Root Beer was forgotten and we had to ask for it 3 times so it came when we were about 40 minutes into the meal.

We got a cup of ice cream included and I was surprised when it came out in a disposable plastic cup. You can choose from vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. We both chose strawberry and it was a nice note to end the meal. It was a unique flavor, not too sweet, and I was entertained that the ingredients list had 4 different kinds of milk - that probably explains the buttery texture. The portion size was perfect and I really enjoyed it, though my sister thought it was just all right.

My favorite bites were the gyoza in the herb broth, the BBQ short rib, and the quail egg. My sister's favorite bites were the BBQ short rib, the quail egg, the shrimp tempura sushi, and the spicy crab sushi.

Toward the end of the meal we noticed there seemed to be a buffet bar along one wall. The server hadn't mentioned it at the start of the meal. We were too full to try any of it by the time we asked about it so I only took pictures of it. I imagine I would have appreciated the meal more if I'd known about the 32 different sauces and the rest of the self-service buffet.

They don't take reservations unless you have a party of 10 or more. See the picture of the sign for info about gratuity additions and last service call times. The front of the house staff were friendly and efficient. We waited less than 10 minutes for a table even though the place was crowded and many people were waiting ahead of us.

Accessibility: there were several handicap parking stalls around the restaurant and the pathways inside the restaurant were nice and wide for a wheelchair to navigate around, even though the place was crowded. The accessible tables seemed a little limited but that's just my perception so I'm not sure if that would cause a longer wait for a table.

Overall we had a lot of fun trying lots of new things and figuring out what we liked and didn't like, and then laughing at each other's reactions. I loved the atmosphere, and the food was just okay (maybe if we ordered more things we would have found more things to love). We paid $85.50 for the meal not including tip. I wouldn't choose to go there again but I would go with someone else if they really wanted to go.

I came here for a friend’s birthday and we had a large group. For most of us it was our first time here and the server did a fantastic job explaining how the process worked. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch. If you’re looking for a fun place to grab dinner with friends this is the place to go!

Not new user friendly unless you ask for further explanation.
Food was good but you need to like Korean food flavors. It’s not for a picky American palate.
Atmosphere is perfect and incredible and photo worthy.

I decided to check this place out for lunch, so glad I did. They have a huge selection of items to choose from, even MORE during dinner, I'm gonna have to come back to try them all, the bulgogi is my favorite so far, so flavorful. Very cool atmosphere, super friendly and welcoming staff, great tasting sauces and broths to choose from. I decided to try the hot pot and grill, only $5 more($25 total for lunch). Will definitely be back. The only negative I can say about this place is that I didn't try it sooner!

Honestly, it's the best place. Loved it. Food is so good and you get what you want . You cook it to your liking. Service was the best I have ever had. She answered questions and made sure we always had food and drinks. The music and the screen were great. A must go!
